Approximately 1 out of every 36 children born in the U.S will be diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Unfortunately, parents typically have few resources in seeking support for themselves and their child, particularly within the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Our Family Support Services provides families with a road map to resources available in the Lowcountry. In a coordinated and collaborative effort with the Medical University of South Carolina, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatric Department, LAF provides information, service support, and direct assistance to families affected by autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.

Family Support Services can be accessed by registering on our website or calling our number 843-800-7171. All services, including Family Support Services are free of cost to families.
