Service Coordination Program
The LAF Service Coordination Program provides a family with a road map to resources based on the specific diagnosis a child may receive from LAF, MUSC or other competent medical source. The program features a one-to-one relationship with a LAF representative, a standard protocol that is professionally supported by LAF clinicians and accepted by the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs. In a coordinated and collaborative effort with the Medical University of South Carolina, Developmental Pediatric Department, the Lowcountry Autism Foundation, Inc. (LAF) provides information, service coordination and direct assistance to families with children, newly diagnosed, by MUSC, by LAF and other medical sources, with an autism spectrum disorder (or other developmental delays).
